It is better to live in ignorance than in fear...

Hey Bloggers,

Are you a puzzle solver?  Do you need all the answers to every question you have or can you sleep at night and just accept facts?  Do you ever question even your own existence?

'It is better to live in ignorance than in fear of your own knowledge.'

What I mean by the above is that sometimes, it is better to not know the truth as it can be quite upsetting.  Sometimes, we try to seek answers that are nowhere near in our grasp - the principle of philosophy.  Though, knowing these answers will only change our mental state - for the good or worse - so why do we need them?  Is it better to know what happens after death or to just hope we know what happens after death?  Would you rather your partner not know that you had a secret affair with another person 5 years ago despite the fact you've been loyal ever since or come clean to them and risk your very happy marriage?

A journey to light is better than a journey to dark...

Hey Bloggers,

Do you prepare yourself for failing?  Do you not attempt something purely because you fear you will fail at it?  Or are you on the other end of the spectrum and believe you can win anything?

'A journey to light is better than a journey to dark, even if you have to pass through the dark to get to the light.'

Getting in the right frame of mind before attempting something big is something many psychology professionals will tell you.  It is also better not to let anything or anyone along your journey knock you or divert your course.  This journey may be to: love, a career, a result or even a certain status.  Whatever the journey, you're not going to get to the end very easily with an unclear path.  Though, admitting defeat before you have begun is obstructing your own path.

Packaging does not affect the contents...

Hey bloggers,

Are you a judgemental person?  Will you read a book based on its cover?  Do you feel conscious about the way you look, sound or even walk?

'Packaging does not affect the contents; the nicest gifts can be in the dullest casing.'

We all do it; we all make preconceptions about things based on their looks.  It happens in science, mathematics, cooking, music and obviously socialization.  An example I think we can all relate to is when we have been studying high school maths and get a number that is not perfect - it is a decimal.  Many of us think we have made a mistake though really, we haven't.  So how does this link in with my blog's theme of equality?  Well, no matter what shape, colour, sexual orientation or size you are, you're still a puzzle piece in the universe!

Love in the form of hate...

Hey bloggers,

Is there anyone that has a strong hatred towards you for no apparent reason?  Is there anyone you feel strong hatred towards for no apparent reason?

'Love in the form of hate can guide and influence us the greatest.'

Everybody is a critic!  If people are not criticising the way you look, it is the way you smell, the way you act, the way you eat or maybe even the way you speak.  Though all of these criticisms stent from a similar source: that is that we tend to criticise people based on our own opinion of perfect and maybe even our own fears.  We may hate the idea of having a big nose, so notice other people who have big noses and maybe outwardly criticise them for it.  What has any of this got to do with love and hate you may ask?  Well, sometimes we criticise people we hate because we love them!

Our differences make us human...

Hey Bloggers,

Do you ever feel so different that you feel detached?  Is your difference classed as an illness or disorder?  Has there ever been pressure on you to change who you are simply to fit in?

'Our differences make us human; the variety of differences increases our race's complexity.'

Without the massive gene pool humans have available to them, we would not be as successful as we are today.  Genes determine absolutely everything about us, from the shape of our nose to the size of our temper.  Though one can argue external stimuli can have a great effect on the way we use our genes, though they are still the foundation for our personality, looks and life.  For some reason, people still feel under pressure to have similar genes to others.  They want to look similar and be similar to other people.  Societies tend to idolise people or characteristics.  Is this going to prohibit our race's progression?

Know what your preaching before you preach it...

Hey bloggers,

Have you ever been told something that doesn't sound quite right?  Have you ever questioned someone on a topic they have brought up and found they have very limited or repetitive responses?

'Know what you’re preaching before you preach it, otherwise you’re not going to get anywhere.'

Ignorance is one of the biggest flaws within humanity accompanied by arrogance towards the truth.  There are so many people throughout the world who degrade each other purely because of their faiths, cultures and opinions.  However, without this diversity we would not be able to solve so many problems and invent so many cool gadgets.  Though, this diversity can lead to terrible wars and conflicts purely because some of us lack the willingness to understand one and other's view point.

Dreams can only get bigger...

Hey Bloggers,

Have you ever dreamed of something you know you can't have?  Do you stop yourself from dreaming?  Do you achieve your dreams?

'Dreams can only get bigger, is that a good thing?'

I believe that dreams are great to have.  They allow us to maintain a good level of hope within our lives which is excellent to have for our general wellbeing and aids an optimistic outlook on life.  However, many people may argue that 'the more you expect, the less you appreciate the little things' or that dreams make you more susceptible to disappointment.  Though, the question I want to answer today is: are dreams a good thing to have?

Love yourself to love others...

Hey Bloggers,

Do you ever feel unappreciated?  Do you ever despise yourself simply because of who you are?  Are you prone to fault yourself rather than praise yourself?

'Love yourself to love others, have emotion to give emotion!'

We are all very much linked.  The human race's communication skills are so well developed that we are in fact able to influence others thoughts and feeling and communicate our own thoughts and feelings without even thinking about it.  Subconsciously, our motor facial muscles are working overtime to constantly change our expressions to match our moods, our sweat glands, salivary glands, eye muscles and so much more all indicate our feelings to others.  Though, like I have said, these processes are subconscious so if we are to change how they work and portray us, we have to change how we think.

Without one of us, the world could change dramatically...

Hey bloggers,

Ever thought about how important you actually are to the world?  Ever thought about the fact without your existence, the entire planet could be different?  Ever questioned your existence?

'Without one of us, the world could change dramatically.  A rose maybe black instead of red...'

Every move you make - no matter how little or much you think of it - has an impact.  Have you ever thought about the fact that even a sneeze can change the colour of a flower bed!
